From my own article on the subject:
Trump’s presidential bigotry has had lethal consequences not only in the United States but all over the world. Not one, not two, not three but four mass murderers mentioned Trump on their social media prior to their rampages. Both Brenton Tarrant and Patrick Crusius praised Trump in their pre-slaughter manifestos. Brenton Tarrant, the white-supremacist mosque murderer of New Zealand called Trump a “symbol of renewed white identity and common purpose.” Patrick Crusius, the Walmart killer of El Paso, regurgitated talking points from Trump, Fox News and the Republican party in his manifesto warning of a “Hispanic invasion” and says Democrats are using “open borders” and “free healthcare for illegals” to attract new voters, all common Trump talking points. He also cited a common fear of conservatives that an influential Hispanic population in Texas would make the state a “Democratic stronghold.”
Nikolas Cruz, the Parkland killer of Florida bragged about writing Trump a letter and posted a pre-rampage pic of himself in a MAGA hat. He even wore a MAGA hat at his mother’s funeral. After the funeral, he asked to see “anything Trump” and was taken to Trump International Beach Resort in Sunny Isles, Florida by a family friend, who said that it was like “taking a kid to Disneyland.” Alexandre Bissonnette, although Canadian, was a college dropout who was obsessed with Trump, mentioning him 819 times across multiple websites before going on to murder 6 men in a mosque.
The combined death toll of these mass murderers officially stands at 96, although that number does not include related suicides among traumatized survivors and first responders after the fact.
